Solidarity Tourism

The real journey of discovery does not consist in looking for new landscapes, but in having new eyes. "

Marcel Proust

Tourism is one of the first industries in the world and generates capital in all tourist countries, including in developing countries where it can be an economic growth factor. In reality, however, revenues are distributed unfairly. Depending on the host country, it is estimated that 80 to 90% of revenue ultimately goes to industry in the North.

It is for us to find other ways to travel to promote sustainable tourism directly benefit local populations.

Solidarity tourism puts people at the heart of travel and meets them in a logic of territorial development. This model is based on the involvement of local populations in the tourism project, respect for the person, cultures and nature.
